Dr. Ball, a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky.

 

Following residency, he pursued further specialization in Vitreoretinal Surgery through a fellowship at the same institution. Dr. Ball is a member of several prestigious medical associations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retinal Specialists, American Medical Association, Mobile County Medical Association, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.

 

With expertise in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tear/detachment, macular hole, macular pucker, and vitreous surgery, Dr. Ball is committed to providing comprehensive care in the field of ophthalmology.
